Six remarkable Glastonbury Men

In response to a friend”s remark regarding my posts. “Where are all the men?”,today i decided to post my portraits of six local men.

Tom Clark is and has been so many things, a theatre director, actor, political activist, and a major contributor to the success and development of the Redbrick Building as well as Street football club and a good friend.

Tim Knock does so much for the Redbrick building, and also a musician. Tim’s portrait was number 100. I must have been tired by then as its not a very good likeness!

Paul Manning runs Blue Cedar print works, a great resource especially for all us artist in town. What I like is that it is a business run with a lot of heart. They also have art exhibitions at Blue Cedar featuring emerging artists.

Adrian Hopper is a friend i have known for decades! He is always jolly! A talented woodworker and he also plays great sax.

Marco Klaus-Kopenhagen is a sailor currently living on his yacht in Portugal. His creatively is very original whether he is working with wood, photos, or whatever comes to hand! He also writes charming songs and plays guitar.

Mike Orchard is a healer, retired massage therapist and a great gardener.

Thanks guys for sitting for me !
